Sorry to hear that, but glad you got something figured out. My nephew was diagnosed with diabetes when he was 3 1/2 years old and he is going to graduate high school in a few weeks and has done extremely well. It is something that has to keep up with extremely close, but it us definitely manageable. Will he have to have insulin shots? My nephew did for several years until he was able to get an insulin pump which is not fun, but it sure can help make it much easier to manage.
