Subject: RE: Capital intensive

So, how is that different from me needing warm wood barns covered in high priced tin, parts insulated, and running the same type of watering system in a dairy?  I didn't wake up one morning and find sheep on my lawn either, we had to buy them.  True, we bought them 15 years ago and they are paid for, but any dairy could have done the same thing.

I, just last month traded for a virtually new skid steer for the sheep barns, the old one was getting too many hours.  That took some capital.  I should upgrade my manure spreader, and I recently had to do major repair work on the tractor that pulled that spreader all last fall.

Don't give me that line that only dairy is capital intensive.

I will say one thing about this issue.  You have made look at dairy products a lot differently in the last month.  I now avoid them like the plague.  Nothing like alienating your customers.
