You need to quit wearing your feelings on your sleeve. It is dog eat dog out there, and getting worse as the competition heats up.
Why didn't you jump down that salesman's throat when he called back and offered to take $500 less for that chisel you wanted? That was your opportunity to offer him $1000 less, then together bargain a good deal for you. Your feelings are getting in the way of business.
