Subject: Calf navel infection question

VT
I have a 225# weaned Holstein heifer calf with a navel infection. She is dripping a white milky fluid from her navel. No fever acts very healthy. I assume she has a draining abscess. I noticed it about 2 1/2 weeks ago, gave her 10cc penicillin for about 6 days which is usually the vet's first advice. I thought it had stopped, noticed it again this morning. Any advice appreciated. I will call the Vet tomorrow.
