on your 4 wheeler calf catcher pen just put a scale under it.
( pad flips down to a flip down support bar ideally use 2 sensors on that w digital readout )
Weigh em dry.
Fresh wet they weigh as much as or More than at 1 to 2 days old.
( alot of h20 loss the 1st 5 hrs after fresh out )
