She looks a little smaller in this pic but I still think 70 lbs. is too low. 90 lbs. is nowhere near a huge calf though.I've had a few bigger cows(1700 lbs.) calve unassisted and fast while I watched from a hiding spot.Later same day weighed them and they'd be 130-135 lbs.Seems like those ones were never any better in fall than the the 100-110 lb. ones(that's about the size I tried for),always kinda dissapointed if a calf was only 90 lbs. cuz they'd usually be the smaller ones in fall. Most important thing is that they're born unasissted,much more important than bw.Calf shape plays a huge role in that.
