Faunsdale, AL | Got rained out a week ago chopping some oats, foxtail, clover etc mix to put in a bag. About 3" of rain over 2 days, so no chance to get back in and get it until this week, and it looks pretty bleached on top and probably a bit moldy on the bottom. Windrows are wide and thin, but hay was very well conditioned with rubber rollers. Circle C type if that tells you anything. Probably will roll it up in round bales.
How long would you go back and chop haylage that has been rained on? I'm not talking a shower here, but enough rain to keep you out of the field for a day at least.
