Whiskey, Tango, Foxtrot | Wow, that looks like beautiful conditions to calve in! Nice looking pictures, I'm pretty jealous of the green. Not much green here this time of year, although I've got a second year stand of alfalfa that is starting to green up and try and grow.
We've played around ever since we bought cows with when to calve. Kind of started to move into spring when it 'should' be warmer. Not working out, Jan/Feb has still been nicer. Glad we calved most of them then. Almost no precipitation in January to just a couple of weeks ago, most of them are big enough to deal with some poor weather now. | |
