Did you learn something? If you did, that is all that matters. Some mistakes are more expensive than others, but so long as you learn from it, its not the end of the world.
Good news is the market is in your favor. Usually when I do something like that, I buy high and sell low. In your case they should be worth quite a bit more right now. Definitely a good time to cull. Preg checking is a must, IMO.
