Do you guys realize Freeport IL is on the IL and Wisconsin border? People in peoria aren't even planting yet, and that's 100 miles south!!! If it gets to 32 degrees one night in peoria it will be 27 in Freeport and your corn will get smoked!
Take a chill pill and wait it out. April 10-20 is proven the best time!
