Central Iowa
If soil temps were 55-60 degrees with a 10-day forecast that would see soil temps stay flat or even continue to rise would you not plant April 2? The corn seed taking its first drink with cold water is more detrimental than emerged corn followed by colder temps. I've never replanted anything due to planting too early and don't plan to this year either. When soil temps and forecasted temps on April 2 are what we normally see on April 20 there is only one difference the date on the calender.
