Subject: Livestock Crop/Black Wagyu Cattle

Graymont Illinois

Since we do not have a livestock forum and a couple people would like one. I am hungry again.(not a vegan)

Missed breakfast, missed lunch (urban term) dinner, had Subway sandwich for supper(country term). Putting on NH3

Got home and "played around on "puter", ran across this http://www.yama-beef.com/articles-news/about-us.htm   maybe not correct address, but look up "store".

Always wanted to try their "marbled beef " however price was a little steep.

Is Wagyu/Koby/ Japanese beef that good.?

Sounds like your typical sales pitch. Create a better product thru advertising.(check out original breeds ,to create this breed)

Still, I must have Pavlogs(sp) dog, syndrome. Drueling.

Dads day is coming up the 18th? Not many more, at least at past quality, in future if any.

He really, likes a good marbled steak, tender. Usually Angus /Angus cross /Hereford invoved. Have not been able to find quality, steak after steak. 1 good, 8 so-so. We do not raise our own beef anymore. For me once the steaks are gone,in freezer, other than burger, I do not cook roasts and organ meats much, I will sit down and love other peoples cooking roasts,  rump roast esp.,   but I do not do that much other meat cut cooking.

Posted similar talk awhile back, but mostly about aging meat. I guess I was on the minority about aging.Chad/ Greywolf/Newguy

As outrageous, the prices, for the sampler pack. Would you give it a shot,(fathers day gift) knowing how your dad likes tender juicy steaks. 'coarse he would "bitch" if he knew what they cost.

Guess it is just a fool and his money. I rarely go out to eat at "fancy' restaurants. I just use drivethru fast food. But a couple at a high end restaurant pays a pretty penny don't they.

Coarse I would be willing to sample superior products offers, naturally I would split shippng:>)Thanks  Brian
