Subject: Re: soft rubber problems with new Goodyear tires

Leesburg, Ohio
Replaced fronts on the 8300 two seasons back...they were splitting above the bead. Put new Goodyears on, and have pretty bad pitting on the back of the lugs from driling beans for two seasons on corn stalks. Rear Goodyears are original '95, with some wear, but still good at 3300 hours. Replaced fronts on 4450 at about 2500 hours with Goodyears, and they are now bald at 5600 hrs. Original rear Goodyears still have 50% left and look good. I like their rear tires, but fronts have not held up as well.
