Manitoba | Absolutely no idea, bought in a few years ago when cows here were about 50 $ over beef price. But in my own experience the really amazing ones are just exceptions and sisters usually don't perform anything like they do. Don't forget, a great cow is 75% management, 25 % genetics and IMO the ratio might be weighted too heavily towards the genetics in that statement. Of course you can't have an absolute dog either but a plain solid cow can do amazing things in the right environment.
Now lets see if there is any solely genetic focused herds watching these posts, that statement should get em going.:) But here, we make our money selling milk. Just being pretty aint helping me any. (see my first rule below, I take it very seriously)
