west central Iowa | You not only have to worry about the cow running off sometimes the calf does. I grabbed a calf that was less than a day old that was sleeping and tagged it and laid it back down. It woke up and took off on a dead run. After following it about two miles I finally caught it in the neighbors catch pen and hauled it back home across the 4 wheeler seat in front of me. Then it took a while to find the cow. | |
