Well now that brings up another question that I didn't think about. I guess I will have to have someone with a CDL take my truck for DOT testing? Will that be ok. I'm not sure they would like me pulling in without a liscense. I'm used to taking our grain trucks in to a local dealer where they will work with you a little.

Ask around a little about your testing facility. Local one here flunked a guy 3 times on little crap. He pulled up to the white stop line an inch short...immediate fail so go home and come back again. Next time in the backing test he pushed in the clutch to get wheel a little straighter, rolled back forward an inch...immediate fail so go home and come back again. Don't know if they had it out for him or what. By the way the tester was about 25 and I'm pretty sure had never driven a truck in her life.
