Morris, IL | Once you pass the written test you get you permit. I never knew about the waiting one month to take driving test, i don't think i did that this last summer/fall. Skills was hardest for me, i passed just by 1 point. I studied a lot for pre trip and passed easily. Driving test was easy and i double clutched. For skills i'd watch someone doing test where you are planning on taking test, then set up same test down to a T and practice, practice, practice. I mean in the same order, same lines, and everything. I got very lucky to pass skills on first try, one thing you have in your favor is time, I was very pressed for time.
