NW Iowa. / SW Arizona | Speaking of free items my wife & I were at a local Hy Vee store last fall buying a large ham & it was supposed to be on sale. It rang up at regular price & my wife got it & mentioned it to the clerk after she rang it up. Without any hesitation she deducted the whole ham off the bill. I don't remember for sure how much it was but do know it was over $30.00. That is Hy Vee policy if it rings up wrong & you catch it it's free to you.
