7.5 bu. X $7.37/bu. = $55.28/a. That pays the harvesting bill 3 times over. Even when it was being harvested I'm guessing wheat was $5.50? That's still $41.25/a. A lot of volunteer if you don't harvest.
I guess that would have gone against the insurance money...hmmm...depending on the adjustment maybe it would have been better to leave it in the field.
