SW Illinois | Don't get me wrong....I definitely agree with you on the wear. We don't run equipment wide open unless it's absolutely required. But combines are designed to be run wide open all the time and nobody argues about that. I personally just wouldn't want to risk damaging an expensive hydro on a piece of equipment that most likely will be traded before the engine quits, anyway. That, and the hydraulics work best running wide open. | |
