Change all cleaning system bushings while doing this job.


I remember doing a pre harvest on one of my 1480's. The right brake needed, adjusting, OK adjustment all used up. Got to put new brake discs in there, pulled the brake cover, oil runs out.
OK got to replace that brake seal too.
Drained the trans so I could replace the seal, chunks of metal were making plink, clunk as they drained out with the oil.
OK, got to remove the trans, replace the bearings, replace the brake seal, replace the brake discs, adjust the brakes.

When that was done, the trans and brakes ran like new for the next 10 seasons. ;-)
