Will the engine die when tanks are switched to either front or rear position. If the engine dies on one certain tank, it could be the fuel sender. I had my 7.3L die at some of the worst times. I finally pinpointed it to the rear tank. I dropped the tank, pulled the sender. The sender came apart and was clogging the fuel line. Maybe it's worth checking. Good luck.
