Imports into the US may change things but it seems to me that we are now in a world wide market and Brazil can  sell to the far east too.

I am reminded of the story a SD rancher/trucker told me about how he occasionally drives a reefer from midwest packing plants to east coast refrigerator ships carrying quality SD carcasses bound for Europe.  And there he also picks up a load of carcasses from India and elsewhere and brings them back to the same packing plants.  Now we wouldn't want COOL would we...
