SE Wyoming | frank-f - 2/23/2012 05:11Find a good 2010 with the 4.6 in it and you will get about the same mileage as the new eco boost's are getting plus you'll have a proven engine and no turbos to go out. I had a SuperCrew with the 4.6. At this altitude it wouldn't get out of it's own way. 13 mpg avg. Ran well, just zero on power scale. We run 5 5.4's and they work just fine. Also run four new 6.2 motors and they also lag behind the Eco for power and mileage. One SuperCrew with 6.2 never better than 13 ever. Like I said earlier this is at 5400 feet. |
