sullivan il. | I am confused I have never been around a dairy in my life but i do bottle 1300 hd of holstein bull calves a year with a 1% death loss. Isnt waste milk from a dairy free calf feed i mean you feed the cow the corn and other feed already and it has to be milked if you didnt feed it to the calf it would just be thrown out right or maybe i just dont understand what waste milk is. As far as the bedding i use half of a small square bale per calf for the first 7 weeks. to answer to question filling hutches right now with $130 calves | |
