Faunsdale, AL | Getting it to supply fuel might be just the first problem! As you work on it, make sure to think ahead of time what you'll do when it takes off on it's own and overspeeds 'cause the rack is stuck in the fuel pump!
I've never had a rotary pump like a RoosaMaster or StanaDyne cause a run away, but have had an in-line pump cause a run-away on an engine that had been sitting in a tractor for several years. If you can smother it, that's usually the quickest, and finish it off by cutting off fuel if necessary. You need to be ready. | |
