Ha ha thought that was only my trick.. Double up pastic twine for wet or weedy mulch to stop the one or two bales from breaking from the thrower or hitting hard in the wagon.Works great and u can really pack em tight, makes a better square shape bale too. Very simple to do just tie another ball to the twine already going to the knotter for each side.New holland bc5070 and 570 with zero problems. Sounds like a waste of money but time saved of messing with broken bales is worth every cent and then some. Yup, not a malfuction its two strings tied with one not on the same side. We use 9000-96000 it comes out to around the same money as 7000-7200 and is still stronger.Don't do it all the time but if bales are breaking time for two. Sell most by the ton so the tighter the bale, less i have to handle, Within reason of coarse.
