Did you pass up a farm to purchase?
Judging by the equipment......I could service it without a shop....outside

Just a couple of thoughts. I am planning a shop that will cost the same as 7 acres, it would take a huge shop to affect my acreage one way or the other.
The equipment in the picture is far from new, but looks very good, score one for the shop.
Winter is when I have time to work on equipment. It is common for us to have wind and snow here. Not likely to accomplish much with a parka and mittens.
Sheds depreciate on the tax return as well.
