Lubbock, Texas
I think the flaw I see in it is the receiver area and then having to dump it

they need a way that the receiver area continuously conveys small amounts of cotton into the compactor area and that tamper should be going lightening fast up and down tamping and back and forth to level

they should IMO take the conveyor system off of a stripper or picker that gets the cotton from the head and into the basket on the picker or stripper and modify it so that it feeds from the receiving area into the compactor area in small bits just like when the cotton is picked or stripped and conveyed into the basket on the harvest machine in small amounts

then you need only stop to accept the cotton from the stripper or picker and once it is received there is no need for the receiver area to lift itself the cotton just conveys into the compactor area as you are rolling on and the tamper runs wild up and down and back and forth as a few pounds a second or minute or whatever are being added to the compaction area until it is time to dump a half module

it would be like an inverse/reverse conveyor/basket system on a picker or stripper

you could have an auger in the bottom that feeds to one side and then the cotton is blown or moved over into the compactor area

if they wanted to get really crazy they could slip a bur extractor in there as well or other similar pre-cleaner just like on some pickers and strippers
