Our 4650 ps has made that growling noise forever. I noticed it one time like you and wondered a bit about it then realized just how little time I spend with my head down there. Probably perfectly normal. Just bought a 7250 magnum. Wait till somebody tells you how normal the rattling, knocking sound at the back end is and not to worry about it.
