Just my quess, the 4850 has a clutch pack housed in the flywheel, oil pressure builds up in the pack and starts to move the tractor, 3 check balls in the flywheel relieve the pressure. You are probably hearing the gears starting to engage then release. Have you ever noticed when the tractor is setting on solid ground or concrete, that it will .move forward about an inch or two then roll back, which is normal. I think you don't have a problem Hopefully everything is normal. Hope you don't have any problems. Good luck.
