All the other posters about covered it with the car, has she driven on ice and snow before?  She will have to drive a lot slower and give herself plenty of time at intersections to stop untill she get's used to it. Of course there are always the other sob's that drive too fast and think they can stop on a dime. Grand Forks is a nice town, lot's of new eatery's.
