I do think rolling is better than running a vertical tillage tool in the fall. I'm kind of liking the rollers that have the nobby type rollers. I think they would "crimp" a little more.
We ran a Salford this spring over some fall made strips in corn stalks. That was interesting. I thought it was okay.
