Subject: Broadcast AMS in front of striptill?

Central Iowa
We will be stripping some COC ground for the first time next year. For those of you striptilling COC does the residue become more a significant problem in year 2 or 3 and beyond? I'm wondering if it will be necessary to do some light vertical tillage with some AMS in the fall to try and accelerate the breakdown process before spring stripping. It just seems that after multiple years of 200 bu residue that the increase in residue could be difficult to deal with. Also in a broadcast situation can the N from the AMS be credited to the crop the following spring?
