Columbia, MO | I am looking for opinions about drinking water filtration systems for the house. I have rural water, it is very hard and heavily chlorinated. I have a Kenmore water softener for the hardness. We only drink the water from the filtered refrigerator, but it still has a bad taste. Would a charcoal filter system installed under the kitchen sink filter out the bad taste? What exactly is the filter in my frig made of? Paper?
Any help is appreciated.
