It's funny how two people look at the same study and come away thinking different thing's. You see tillage as the culprit in this study while I see that crop removal i.e. "contiuously chopping the same field" will lower your O.M. almost 1 fully point "0.9" in 11 years, and that it takes 20 tons of manure to offset that effect.
