Subject: RE: soil tests

the biggest red flag for me in this soil test is your low potassium level.... is this an unusually low K test for your farm? Have you observed K deficiency symptoms in the field (lack of chlorophyll along the margins of older leaves)? What is your standard program for K? I recommend trying to build K test levels if possible.

Your Mg level is also quite low - low enough to likely limit yield of corn and beans unless the subsoil supply of Mg is good.

Have you ever had any tissue testing done on this farm?

If so, did you have low tissue levels of K and Mg?
