Near Richmond, IN | I've worn contacts for 44 yrs. It's always been the rigid lenses that you remove every day but use the same lenses over and over until they become too scratched or you need a new prescription. The last many years they've been the gas permeable type which is better. The only time dust, etc., bothers me is when the wind is blowing some. I've baled hay in them, cleaned grain bins, etc., and usually have no problems unless something is moving the air quite a bit. Actually, I see fairly well without them, but not good enough to drive, but now I wear just one so that I can see distance with one eye and read with the other. I've done that for many years and only wear two at night when driving as it's a little harder to see at night. Also I always have sunglasses with me---usually the cheap safety glass type. | |
