Subject: Anybody else giving up on no till?

Eastern Wyoming
Last spring I was a little surprised when the no-tiller east of my place pulled in with a moldboard plow and went to work... He ended up with an impressive corn crop raised with no applied fertilizer and one shot of round-up that I doubt he even needed to apply.

I bought a disk last June after weeds got away from me on PP acres.

This afternoon, my other neighbor, a religious no-tiller, told me he was going to disk after his sunflowers were out. This same guy sprayed the same fallow acres 6 times (yes,6) with RU and various RU cocktails trying to control prickly lettuce...It still made seed. His sunflowers were making about 200#/ acre, thanks to this same weed.
