Subject: Mine turned out great!

Le Sueur VIA St.Thomas
First time fryer here... Read lots before actually doing it. I brined my turkey with a suggested recipe that turned out really well.

I borrowed a friends fryer and am pretty sure its a good one. Not sure why, but I had a hard time getting the oil temps bak up after the bird was put in. We never did get back over 290 while frying. Too windy was the only thing I could come up with?? Regardless, it was awesome.

Afterwords, we had deep fried twinkies, df swiss cake rolls, df oatmeal cream pies and many other things too numerous to mention. The top two items were deep fried hostess apple pie and deep fried pumpkin pie. The df P.Pie even looked like a piece of pie after it came out.

good luck -jim
