Subject: RE: Wood Framed vs Steel Framed Shop

just a tish NE of central ND
Although I don't have much for buildings for shops, I'm always watching and we have a lot of pole structures around here .My son built barns all summer also for a job. There is sure lots of variables in each situation of need for shops and building, isn't there?I always look at buildings like this though. Which would you rather have ? a steel bin for grain or a wood bin for grain? Those steel bins have almost zero maintance....Ang guys doze good bins down that are 60 years old because of small size even though they are standing real well yet. Wood buildings, well not so much, the fall apart by themselves......Shouldn't it be about the same question with the same answers for a shop?
