Subject: Re: Liquid Fertilizer applications, over the years

North Central Ohio, across the Corn belt !

From what farmers have reported the past 10 to 20 years.

Farmers applying Most of their fertilizer as Liquid, especially on clay based soils as a Liquid N. carrier for ones Herbicide program.  report and deal with HARD soil conditions.  ?

Farmers with an ALL dry program report and experience HIGH tilth and Loose soil textures  that they feel gives them several advantages during the growing season.

Acid rain you think ? Plus Acid based Liquid applied across the soil surface, or in Concentrations or Bands ???  Hmmmm

Or for thought. Low Calcium ? soil levels

"""""        """"     High free Salts ? High soil Magnesium levels ?   something to think on and evaluate. on YOUR Farm.

Two good independent references to call with 1st. hand observations would be

Chris at 419-563-4421

Bryan at 419-210-0837

for a 1st. hand point of observation on Large acres over a Long time frame and evaluations, comparisons.

of liquids versis dry.

and why a local CPS is promoting and working to develop a more progressive Dry fertilizer program for their customers.

call Brad or Adam at the Edison, Ohio CPS to visit about why they are going against the trend and going DRY. for the sake of THEIR customers.
