Central WI
Had volunteer wheat run 50 bu. /acre this year, did absolutely nothing to it,because i thought i should put corn on it.. Looked and yielded better than my drilled. In hind sight i would have sprayed early for weeds, and maybe spread a little AMS for a little more yield. Would try thinning out if You have more than 600 plant/sq yard because planting too thick can cause health issues, lodging and poor test weight. In my opinion, dont rip it up and replant, just manage what is there and use the crop ins as a back up. Located in Central WI.
