For us here corn was the better crop. We sprayed some in the fall and some in the spring for burndown and did not see much difference in the kill or the stand we got. We were not in a hurry to plant the ground real early because of all the residue took a little while to get soil warm and did not want seed just laying in the soil. If soil was in good nutrient condition when it went in it should still be good.
