NC Iowa | Here is another sugar cookie recipe for you. These stay pretty soft, main reason I like them.
1 cup powder sugar
1 cup sugar
1 cup blue bonnet margarine
1 cup vegetable oil
2 eggs
1 tsp vanilla or almond flavoring
4 cups flour ( + 1/4 to 1/2 cup)
1 tsp salt
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp cream of tarter
Mix sugars, margarin, oil , then add eggs and flavoring
add dry ingredients and add the extra 1/4 to 1/2 cup flour until duoght is not as sticky
Roll dough in a ball, dip in sugar and press with glass
bake 350 for 10-15 minutes.
