WC Ohio
Here you go:

1 cup real butter, softened
1 1/2 cups sugar
3 eggs
1 tsp. almond extract
2 tsp. vanilla extract
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp baking soda
4 1/2 cups all purpose flour

Cream butter and sugar, add eggs and extracts and beat until light and fluffy; combine flour, soda and salt in separate bowl - gradually add to the creamed mixture until well incorporated; divide dough in half and place on a square of plastic wrap, pull sides up to form a round and flatten into a disk. Place into a ziplock bag and refrigerate overnight or freeze for later use.

To use: If frozen allow to thaw; Preheat oven to 350 degrees; Roll disk out onto lightly floured surface until approx. 1/4 inch thick and cut with cookie cutters. Bake until set approximately 8 - 10 minutes.

Decorator Frosting:
1/2 cup real butter, softened
1/4 cup shortening
2 tbls. flour
1/4 cup milk
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
Beat the above until smooth then add 4 cups powdered sugar and beat until fluffy.
