southern MN		Yea, a neighobr had to redo a basement here in s MN dug & blocked it in fall, waited until following year to build - the frost caved in the walls.

Me, I'd worry about the shingles, but why use asphalt shingles any more, they've turned into a poor product any moree.

Of course as far south as he is, does it even get cold there? :)
