| I am doing about the same in the same kind of climate. This year i will try to seed rye as late as in november. The only thing i am doing different is that i am seeding my corn in living rye. I make sure to kill the rye before corn emerge. This have to advantage in my mind. Living rye help to warm the soil, and it help to dry it. That way i am giving almost three weeks more to my rye to build roots and to scavenge nutriments. | |
