John I know you think I am on crack. But in ohio you have not seen what I have. I am in the epicenter of the western rootworm variant. Purdue was studying adult rw management on our farm in the 90's. It took our university several years to admit there was an issue. They cost there loyal followers a lot of moneywhile they studied. There is only 1 way to handle these things that is insecticide. I have a 1 up on experience over you in this matter healthy soils just make for roots for these things to eat. If you go without insecticide or traited corn in my part of the world, you lose plain and simple. I am not gonna argue with you or even reply to you I am 100 percent correct on this matter and I hope some locals will speak up and defend this response. Healthy soils will NOT help you in our part of Illinois fight rw varient. The end.
