Scott City KS | My manure spreader contacted Dad asking for advice. He got contacted by a company out of New York that had an opportunity to sell pelletized human waste. He could get unit trains of it.
I told Dad it was too expensive. It's about $20/ton, about half of commercial fertilizer, but cow manure is $3.15/ton. And of course, like cow manure, transportation would eat you up. The other thing to consider is that manure is getting difficult to come by.
